Longtime Claremont-Mudd-Scripps track and field and cross country coach Kelly Beck has joined the Pacific University staff as a full-time assistant coach for both programs.

Sproul and teammate Mackenzie Huddleston will continue to work towards NCAA Division qualifying marks in the javelin in the next few weeks. Both are entered to compete at George Fox next Saturday.

Pacific's 4 x 400 relay team and long distance hurdler Kelsey Lee each rewrote their own school records to highlight Boxer performances at the Northwest Conference Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Griswold Stadium and the Eldon Fix Track.

A full day of field events begins on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and track finals start at noon.

The Pacific Open was the final tune-up for the Boxers before next Friday's Northwest Conference Championships at Lewis & Clark.

The Boxers will host the Pacific Open next Saturday at Hanson Stadium. Start time is 10 a.m.

Next up for the Boxers is the Rich Allen Classic at George Fox on Saturday, April 9.

The Boxer men's and women's teams will be in McMinnville next Saturday, competing in the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational at Linfield.

The Boxer track and field teams will compete at the Willamette Invitational this Saturday in Salem.

Up next for the Boxers is the Willamette Invitational next Saturday in Salem. Pacific will also host heptathletes and decathletes his Monday and Tuesday (March 21-22) at the Pacific Combined Events at Hanson Stadium.
