Near the end of the outdoor track season the spring of her freshman year, junior sprinter and long jumper Genna Settle said in a story for GoViks that her goal was to just get better. Outdoors that year, she was part of the Vikings' Big Sky-champion 4x100-meter relay team that also made it to the NCAA regionals and she qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary meet in the 100 meters.
