FOREST GROVE, Ore. – The Portland State women's track and field team gave its home fans some drama heading into the final day of the 2013 Big Sky outdoor track and field championships, dueling with the Sacramento State Hornets for much of the final day, but in the end taking second-place in Forest Grove, Ore. The Vikings' runner-up finish is the best its had since 2006, when that edition of PSU also took second.
