The Bushnell University cross country and track & field programs are excited to announce a Winter Recruit Weekend, taking place on January 14-15, 2022.

Bushnell Junior Rebecca Kuskie passed more than 30 runners over the final 1000 meters on Friday afternoon, taking 113th place at the NAIA National Championship, hosted by the Cascade Collegiate Conference at Fort Vancouver.

It's the biggest weekend of the year thus far as two teams and one individual compete in national championship events and the basketball teams hosts the Beacon Classic.

Junior Rebecca Kuskie earned All-Conference honors on Friday as she took fifth-place at the Cascade Collegiate Conference championships, taking place at Running Y Ranch.

A full slate is on tap for Bushnell Athletics this weekend, including the Cross Country conference championships, the start of the basketball season, and the end of the volleyball regular season.

On Tuesday the Cascade Collegiate Conference announced the student-athletes who earned U.S. Bank Academic All-Conference honors in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball. 31 members of the Bushnell teams were selected.

The Lewis-Clark State College Cross Country course was the site of the final regular season race for the Bushnell women's cross country team on Saturday, as they competed at the Lewis-Clark Invitational.

After a three-week hiatus, the Bushnell cross country teams returned to action on Friday at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Preview Meet, hosted by Oregon Tech at the Running Y Ranch. Both teams came away with second-place finishes.

Claiming their first event victory in three years, the Bushnell women's cross country team won a narrow victory over Multnomah University on Friday at the Bushnell Invitational, taking place at Middlefield Golf Course.
