The Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes were announced on Monday and NCU junior Alek Angeli was among the 210 student-athletes selected for men's cross country.

Senior Chris Zirkle made history on Saturday, becoming the first male runner in school history to earn All-American honors as he finished in 19th place at the NAIA National Championship at Rim Rock Farm.

After their sixth-place finish at the Cascade Conference championship on Saturday, the Beacons have dropped out of the NAIA coaches Top-25 poll for the first time this season. NCU was still receiving votes in the poll, five spots out of the top-25.
